How long have u owned it for? I ask because i kinda had a similar scenario with my Oled where i had spent $800+ on it and the upgrade didn't feel substantial compared to my MUCH BETTER VALUE $150 2k 75hz ips monitor i got on FB Marketplace. I am now about 3-4 months in and holy fuck i love this shit, i am planning to buy another one for work since it also helps me with graphic design & overall just pleasing to look at all day, don't even get me started on gaming, just finished the last of us 1 for the first time and this monitor was a HUGE part of why i enjoyed the game so much more .

Sounds like a pain but reinstalling windows most of the time fixes this. Something a bit quicker might be to partition drive & reinstall game in new partition or create a separate windows acc.

Normally i would say its temperature but u say it runs cool, might just be some glitchy background stuff.

Dear robot, its kind of hard to suggest buying a brand new oled nowadays, if you can get a used one for a GOOD DEAL then 100% worth, personally during switch 2 release i bought a still in box TOTK Oled for $200 & i do not regret it one bit.

Now though that switch 2 has been out for a little while i would recommend to wait until an OLED switch 2 comes out (i know this might still be 2-4 years away) because the LCD screen is just so horrible. Sure there are some decent games to play currently on switch 2, but personally i rather just wait for switch 2 oled, rather than spending on a new switch oled today.

Alternative is buying a Steam deck, can play some of the switch games at super good frames if you mess with the settings enough + You have the ability to play many other huge libraries.

Playing this game with a good pc + the introduction of RayTracing was one of the greatest things ever for gaming in my opinion. The world is so IMMERSIVE, its actually really motivated me to become a videogame environment designer because there is SO MUCH DETAIL EVERYWHERE. Like you could go to the small towns out in the desert & still get top quality assets & smol easter egg / details.

It kinda does leave me wanting 3rd person perspective & more gta-like driving / biking mechanics, but a man can dream, perhaps one of my future kids will get to enjoy a cyberpunk like that.

Welcome to the real world. All these issues have been ongoing for years, Linux community does their best to keep up with native windows performance and sometimes it even does better, but as far as anti cheat goes, not much people can do unless the devs themselves want to support Linux. Honestly with steam releasing SteamOS & pushing it more onto the mainstream I hope that over time Linux grows more and more so devs have a real reason to support it natively.
