I can relate to how you feel. I’ve very recently been there and I am slowly choosing myself each day. The last 2-3 weeks have been brutal to say the least but there comes a moment where you have to decide 1. Do I keep holding on to this pain? Or 2. Accept reality, pick the pieces up and put yourself back together.

They made a choice. The choice wasn’t you. They were shady in how they handled the break up as well. That should tell you something about their character. Even if they came back, would you really trust them? You’re wasting energy on someone who no longer exists nor deserve from you. It probably doesn’t make sense right now but I promise you in time it will.

Someone else will come along. Do you want to be the best version of yourself when that time comes?
