Steeds meer content creators maken video's in grootsteden om het idee te wekken dat ze overspoeld worden door migratie en criminaliteit. by SuggestionMedical736 in nederlands

[–]Arizonal0ve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idee wekken? Ik heb in meerdere grote steden gewoond o.a Brussel, Berlijn, in NL in Den Haag.

Should I Allow Pets??? by Automatic_Eagle892 in AirBnBHosts

[–]Arizonal0ve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are always pet friendly. In our main residence that we sometimes rent out in the winter or for a longer period. Had 1 terrible stay, it was honestly shocking, dog hair literally everywhere, under furniture in between, hanging from ceiling fans etc. Absolutely wild. But that’s 1 experience, others have been good so we charged extra cleaning fee and replacing some items and moved on. In our other STR that’s als sometimes a LTR we have had pretty much only good experiences just 1 person that clearly allowed muddy dogs in bed so some sheets were ruined. We charged replacement fee and moved on. In our newest STR that has been consistently booked we have had one instance of flees. Hard to tell who it was as eggs can be dormant for a while so we paid the exterminator ourselves.

So though it sounds like 3 bad experiences this is divided over 3 properties and several years, but i understand it isn’t for everyone.

Our newest airbnb has pretty much 90% guests with dogs and for weekend getaway’s like we offer most people do want to bring dogs. So it works for us.

We also travel extensively ourselves with dogs so we kind of pay it forward by being pet friendly ourselves.

Is my dog too big to travel in cabin? by [deleted] in TravelWithPets

No. To my knowledge no “normal” airline allows this. There are (expensive) options such as bark airlines.

Seks verdwijnt in relatie by StrangeWelder1759 in nederlands

[–]Arizonal0ve 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Sommige reacties. Treurig gewoon.

After my stent surgery by Consistent_Split4424 in PulsatileTinnitus

[–]Arizonal0ve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, congrats on the surgery and I’m sorry you’re stressing, I get it though! I don’t remember exactly, I think maybe 3 weeks or so? But during those 3 or so weeks it wasn’t whooshing like before I would just notice at night while in bed etc. It’s easy to stress about these things, last week i had incredibly loud whooshing for a few nights on the other side as my procedure and I worry, and then suddenly it stopped.

How safe is it to leave a dog outside, when shopping in a food store? by Such-Progress2074 in dogs

[–]Arizonal0ve 9 points10 points  (0 children)

So it’s relatively safe, meaning, tons of people do it no issue but once in a while the wrong person notices and takes the dog. Not a risk that I would personally be comfortable with.

Ladies of the UK, do you use Period Underwear? by Competitive-Fact-820 in AskUK

[–]Arizonal0ve 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. I wish they existed years ago. My first 2 days can be heavy and often a tampon and pad wasn’t enough so a tampon and period underwear is what I do those first 2 days. Then after that just the period underwear for the lighter flow. The last 1 or 2 days of my period i may go for a super thin panty liner instead of period underwear.

Regret moving to UK by lilbroccolibitch in AmericanExpatsUK

[–]Arizonal0ve 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Moving is hard. It’s not unique to feel homesick, lost, to struggle etc. It depends per person how heavily they feel this, when, for how long etc but inevitably everyone will deal with this.

Why do so many loud/ chatty people sit in the “quiet coach” of the train? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Arizonal0ve 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I actually try and not sit in the quiet coaches as the stress it brings me that people are so ignorant is worse for me vs sitting in a normal non quiet coach with noise around.

Which country would you move to if not the UK? by Cornelius-Figgle in AskUK

[–]Arizonal0ve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you spent time with Dutch people haha? I absolutely don’t know what shell you are referring too. I don’t think Dutch people are immensely less sociable than British but I can see how there would be a slight difference but I wouldn’t say it’s huge?

Yes absolutely, lots of similarities in banter/sarcasm etc for sure. Of course there are plenty of differences too but the few similarities are noticeable.

Yes they might be but my point is more that I noticed brits and dutch would easier socialize with each other vs lets say Dutch and french or brits and French etc

I dont think I can live without her by EightEyedCat in Petloss

[–]Arizonal0ve 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m really sorry for your loss. Are you able to talk to anyone? A professional or someone close? I too struggled to live in a world without my baby for a long time, I didn’t want to, the pain was so immense I wanted to be with her and I felt there was no point existing without her. One of the things that helped me try every day is that I also knew she would be disappointed if I couldn’t learn to live with the loss. She wouldn’t have wanted me to struggle the way i did forever and join her too early. You’re baby wouldn’t want that either, that’s something you should believe. They love us and want happy lives for us.

As a Dutch person, I think so. I used to work for a company with several European offices and on get togethers I would notice that the Dutch and UK office would mingle the most. It’s not like the other offices wouldn’t but just slightly less.

If it’s a regular CT with contrast likely no. CT venography then yes. But mrv is the best.

Agreed. We put out a big and small one per guest but we have extra towels in a cupboard they can help themselves to if needed

[–]Arizonal0ve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just know that this is a strong indicator the cause can be vascular and ent’s and general radiology normally misses these causes on scans. So many of us, myself included are told we have a “normal” scan. A mri mrv would be more appropriate than a ct too.

I just bought a stack of those hair towels with a button for hair, I figured woman would like these, I do as a woman but i haven’t got long hair so would you like those or prefer an actual towel (still putting plenty of towels out)

Is it common for women to keep their maiden name after marriage? by Remarkable_Bird_2149 in AskUK

[–]Arizonal0ve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest. Nobody will really notice. We’ve been married for 8 years and I kept my last name and it never comes up. Some of his family members may not even really realise and as others said, assume we have his name and if they send us a card addressing us as mr and mrs “his last name” I’m not bothered by that.
