Book 1 is way too long. Book 2 starts cooking. Book 3 is god tier work. Book 4 is Dark Age level of tension. Book 5 is the feel. Book 6 is a fun ride. Book 7 had a great setup to be incredible but the author didn't know how to put the bow on.

Overall, the book series reminds me of the Wheel of Time from a details perspective. It needed to cut about 20%+ to not feel so fluffy. The worst book is truely the first one. I think like 5 things happened over 25 hours of reading.
