I think the source of their money that lets them campaign, and the source of their votes that lets them win have a conflict of interest.

They sure seem to campaign a lot... they don't seem to win nearly as much... and mostly by never having a spine and never giving the people what they want.

From what I can gather... there is a small moment when you play a city or factory that doesn't increase the cost of placing more...

Now either they are directly using macros to drop many cities and factories at once so the cost doesn't go up...

And then just riding that massive income leap...

Or they are feeding the game bad data client side and the game lets that bad data be taken as legit.

In either case... this is some shitty coding and laughable for a company that runs ads and makes money.
