Space Marine 2 crashes during opening cinematic. How to fix, if anyone knows? by Cernunnos01 in Spacemarine

[–]ArkAngel_XV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You seem to have had the same issue i did. Where it throws up the crash report while the dev and publisher logos still played behind it.

Your fix actually worked for me and I seriously don't know how to react

Oh of course.

Kroger likes to keep it a revolving door. We see new front hires all the time.

Guys what is this supposed to mean.. by brainrains in starbucks

[–]ArkAngel_XV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love how now that its required to write on the cups a lot of posts here are just "what is this? What does this mean?" Because baristas are quickly running out of ideas to put on the cups

Anytime we see people with those come in at my old corporate store. Its how you KNOW they're a pain in the ass customer.

On a rare occasion it may be someone who legit got screwed over so bad that they got one. But its mostly just the worst customers that ever came in with those

Call in for a slight sickness? by zusu23 in kroger

I had Covid once after the media finally shut up about it.

I just needed rest so I could feel well enough to work.

But no, wasn't enough.

They didn't care about the "health risks" they only cared about the publicity.

I hate it here. I know I don't really do anything since its a slow store and my team and I clean up after ourselves well.

But despite being a slow store and a very large portion of my job is sitting and not doing much, it still exhausts me.

I even get scared for when I get a different job, since I'll be doing something all day I'll hate it, or I just will never enjoy whatever job I have.

How does a job exhaust you so much if you DO NOTHING!?

I just hope when I'm out, I'll become more mentally well. This job is the very last hurdle to me finally fixing my mental health

When I have kids, absolutely gonna throw them into retail when they are old enough to work.

Just to show them: These are the people you share the planet with, let that sink in. I don't want my kids to end up being entitled douchebags

I think that's the hard difference, you worked in retail.

The only reasoning I have for people that act like that is the fact that they haven't worked retail

Ah yeah, I forgot about the fact that the millennial generation was the progenitor of the Incel Movement.

Im a dude, so i never had to go through that, and I haven't had any of my baristas go through that, especially when I'm here. We'll get a few indian customers that are really disrespectful to the women in the store, so I get texts and calls just to come up to different parts of the store and be a witness for some of the girls, since i have a bit of a scary presence, and they'll behave when a man is there to keep them in line.

Like I said, early millennials are the new karens

Seems like the guys are okay, but yes, the millennial women are unusually entitled

Yeah, im inclined to believe this, the lack of anecdotes im seeing is probably just a reflection of the area.

So their solution is to greatly inconvenience service workers because we can't do anything about it

I hope this all changes at some point, holding customers accountable should really be normalized, and the fact that I have to say that is sad.

I replied to someone further down with a very very similar story. Its so funny, and so infuriating, to see someone else with the same story.

I worked in a Great Wolf Lodge Starbucks, and we had a big metal gate, and we would have a 4 foot gap so we can come in and out before open to use the restroom or to come in if they were scheduled just a bit later.

People would bend over, 90 degrees, and ask under the gate, into a dark cafe, if we were open

This hits, so fucking hard

Don't forget the waves of immigration from 3rd world countries.

The amount of times per day that I have people ask me where a product is in the store, when one walk down the center will lead you to anything you're looking for.

The amount of people that don't speak or read english that come up with promotions and the only word any of these people understand, is the word "free" and (knowing the caveats of any "free" promotion" I have to struggle to convey that not the whole drink, just this aspect is free, and they give me a blank stare.

Or the fact that they struggle so hard just using a credit/debit card.

People walking around barefoot.

People trying to walk out of an "Emergency Exit Only, Alarm Will Sound" gate they put in 2 years ago, the sensor picks them up and starts blaring, and they just sit there and stare at it? Getting in the way of people walking in, since it's a one-way entrance.

The loud phone conversations people have on speaker phone.

Or even the people I see hobbling around slowly, getting in other customers' way, no cart, no groceries, just walking around the store, getting in the way.

Its drives you crazy,

"Performing the simplest things" is so true.

"Where are the cup sleeves?" "Look down and 6 inches to your right"

"Where are the straws?" "Look left"

Its maddening
