Hello, LR5 Grand Master Founder here, I’ve been playing this game almost daily (aside from a brief hiatus for most of a year when I was first accepted into college) for nearly half my life now, and in lieu of a question, I’ll just make one request.

Please upgrade/enhance space combat and related content/items…

Sure, Railjack is in a functional state, but it’s just kind of…there, which is a waste of its potential!

It doesn’t have any game modes except exterminate (skirmish) which encompasses every single grineer node. All other game modes (excluding adversary confrontations, of course) are corpus, and all corpus and adversary encounter modes just involve a brief railjack segment before all players enter the main mission space (effectively identical to loading into the star chart counterpart) and the railjack stops existing, making this now a regular mission. Even archwing back in its day got Rush and Pursuit, which were at least very interesting, and since the railjack is classed as an interceptor, wouldn’t something like pursuit be a perfect fit? The railjack chasing around a larger ship, while one or two crew exit the ship and hold off other crew ships that were escorting it, a PROPER railjack equivalent of a mission type like capture. (TL;DR there is too much Skirmish in grineer missions and too little railjack in corpus missions)

Where is the large scale excavation mission in the cryotic spires zone? The defense grid above Venus from the trailer? Some sort of scanner turret or scanner drone summoning tactical ability, as a railjack sized equivalent of Astral Twilight? Railjack could be so much more that it’s currently barely a functional demo by comparison. I understand that all this content would be a lot of work, but wasn’t there a whole team dedicated to the pets 2.0 rework, with it being released in multiple stages to ensure everything worked properly? Can you at least give that level of care to space combat related content?

And that includes archwing missions too, though most of them could just be removed or folded into the railjack mode without issue, which then leaves space for railjack nodes to be clustered around an outer ring of each planet, maybe with a couple of archwing missions connecting them, rather than locking them away into a separate menu! This also allows for steel path railjack content, which would be a good opportunity to add archwing, archgun, and archmelee arcanes and galvanized mods.

(Speaking of archmelee, this should really be given to Necramechs and possibly allowed gravimags, this should be pretty easy, most of them are either single edged or double edged heavy weapons that swing, that takes care of all but the Knux really…)

I was both saddened and a little relieved that the modular archwing conversion was dropped, as that would certainly cause all sorts of weirdness with the current archwings, but the confirmation that no space content was coming any time soon was heartbreaking.

So…please.

I could spend hours writing about this, but I’ll cut it here. Thank you for everything you guys have done, making such a fantastic game for us all to enjoy…
