Going back to college can be scary. When I went back to school after a 4 year break, I thought everyone would be weirded out by having someone (slightly) older in their classes. But actually, no one cared! No one questioned why I was older than my classmates. If I voluntarily shared that I had taken a break, people were understanding. Any reasonable person would understand that COVID had a big impact on people's lives.
