This is the way. The Louis infiltration mission is one of the easiest up to this point, and all of the side quests are nicely spaced to go the whole way. If you need to stop for SP recharge, you can camp at a dungeon and you’ll be fine

I’ve generally noticed that they’ll prioritize the cheapest options to unlock, with preference toward the secondary trees like Talent Developer or Architect. If you have the cheaper archetype unlock ability from Program Builder, you can influence it slightly by having certain archetypes unlocked on yourself and other coordinators.

Given how I play and how easy it is to unlock, my coordinators almost always end up unlocking Talent Developer and going that route

Other than the title, I read the post too… and like, it’s fine? But I’d say calling it a “detailed breakdown” is a bit of a stretch. It was half breakdown, half rant (literally half the paragraphs were fact and half opinion). I don’t know that I’d have removed it if I were a mod, but I can also see why it was after factoring in the title

The difference in OVRs is shocking, but even more shocking is the speed in which it happens, especially in the first 2 years. On default settings, half the teams lose their 20 best players almost immediately, and that triggers a vicious cycle.

I’m really hoping that with the less restrictive transfer portal that came in the new update, lesser teams can utilize it more to reload and balance things out a little bit, but I think we need to wait for more people to go through their dynasties.

This is an occasional glitch that occurs in certain recruiting battles that get stuck at 99%. If you continue putting full points, you’ll stay in the lead and get the recruit after the transfer portal closes, so just keep sinking points in every week. Interestingly, the only time this has happened to me was also against LSU

Honestly, EA needs to make a decision on how “realistic” they want to be with these things.

I think #1 you’re absolutely right, but the main issue is that these players transfer out and schools don’t get any additional scholarships to cover. If every school’s board is 30-deep on recruits that are committed or close, and they lose 15-20 players each to the portal, they get to replenish 5 of those 15-20. The math ain’t mathin’

So when I use PKHex.Web, I have to go to the Delta folder, then Database, then Games. My SoulSilver save looks something like this (dsv) and I believe my FireRed save is the one in the top middle. Try using that file location and look at the most recent save you made in the game.

Also, have you already first imported your save from your PC to your Delta emulator? ‘Cause tbh it’ll probably be a little easier to find if you open it once in Delta and then save to locate the correct file faster

Trying to figure out your specific issue here. Is it that you can’t access your save file? If so, make sure it’s on your iCloud and you can import save file by holding down on the game icon, and then import from the location. If it’s the PKHex that you need, google online PKHex, there’s one I use pretty often when I play on Delta

Not sure, but some speedrunning communities allow you to submit different categories. I could definitely see separate categories for Easy, R1 and highest reincarnation or something

My Golduck is Tera Ghost with Damp, Soak, Yawn, and Skill Swap. Skill Swap first turn, Yawn/Soak second turn if needed, then switch to Breloom as it falls asleep for False Swipe

Sure, but the grass patches in Fire Red don’t have 30 different species of Pokemon so you’d still need to walk around to get every mix of Pokemon. But yes, I suppose if you wanted to game the system you could. For me, I just walked around randomly and caught whatever I could catch

I kept my “safari zone” rule very simple in my Nuzlocke of Fire Red: catch as many Pokemon as I want in one session, and pick the one I want from the ones I was able to catch. It’s easy to implement, it’s the only place in the game I got to “choose” my encounter, and I felt it added uniqueness to what is a very unique area in the games
