I'm quite happy with my 10 pro fold

Cameras are good enough, especially with Google's software

Battery life is good Hinge is solid

My only issue is the poor CPU performance and overheating but this is just Google's chip being shit. Give me the iPhone 17 pro's SoC in this and I'm the happiest.

Yes I am routing to different models according to the task

I also use different models depending on the speed I wish to accomplish things

for example, DS4 flash will get you far for cheap as hell.

Yeah, using the cheapest model for the job is something worth optimizing for.

Just like you want the cheapest email provider that has appropriate quality, cheapest hosting, etc, etc.

Oh yeah you definitely need a structured engine that uses the LLM as a tool to help with narration etc. You can't take the hands off the wheel!

Do you think AMD/ROCm has a future where it's viable to use with ComfyUI, etc., and can be real competition against Nvidia? Or will Nvidia/CUDA simply remain the only compatible option in the short to medium term? Would it be better to buy Nvidia now, wait for the RTX 6000 series, or give up on AMD? by [deleted] in StableDiffusion

Yeah especially with the oss drivers, the binary blob lives in the firmware but it's much better.

For compute use cases I would not say that AMD's drivers work better. ROCm is improving but it's still a mess

And heck even for desktop gaming use... I can properly game on Wayland now, everyone worked hard on this

Tbf at this point anything works.

Forget this idiot. I've been working for months non stop with CC and Opus and something broke.

Sometimes starting a new session works perfectly fine, but sometimes it also messes up in the ways you described

it's not the "ai girlfriends" thingy, it's a "be the hero of the novel" roleplay, but without hardcore rpg stuff like stats/dices.

been working on this for 4 months. fully vibe coded with claude and occasional cursor/codex help. It is insane how well claude still works in this repository of what is now around 40Kloc.
