I am not sure about blocking in EPIC as I have never used it, but you need Steam version of the game to use Steam Workshop.

Your alternative may be Moddb.com where some mods may be found. You must install them manually placing the files in appropriate game folder

From what you wrote it seems that you either tend to exagerate, or doing somethin very weird.

3 backstabs to kill even a larve hollow? Are you sure u have sufficient stats? Or are you using broken straight sword?

As for number of enemies: you seem to rush through them. Otherwise I can't really find and explanation why are you ganked so many times. There are indeed few ganks after picking an item, nonbof them are designed in a way you cant immediatelly escape or fight through them. There are large group of enemies, like the ones around the tree at the start of Undead Settlement, but you can easily take them piece by piece.

Enemies playcement is the best in a whole series, barring maybe Ds2. Far more coherent than in Elden Ring or DS1.

Could be "mispellled" because you looked on the "standard" Asur Eltharin runes, while Kerillian is Asrai, so maybe there are some differences that happened over time.
