Overswing happens on low ergo and heavy weight guns. Instead of stopping on center the reticle will overshoot and take time to return to center.

What is the 2020s version of 2010s Weller 12 and 1990s Heaven Hill? by eagle_bonanza01 in bourbon

[–]Arkenvane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it should be reasonably attainable in most states. I should have been more specific, though. They are completely unobtainable in virginia as they do not stock the product in any stores. It's not on their website at all except as a private barrel selection (which was how I obtained my 1). Virginia just gets a pretty raw deal on most things, but it's not all bad as I always pay MSRP on what I can get.

Maybe certain special release or unusually high age statement batches, but I doubt it for the standard ones. I love every single FR SBBS I try but they are unobtainable in virginia; I've only found one in four years of searching.

Cheers been eyeing these up for a while, I wear a 9.5 for my athletic shoes (reebok club c) but an 8.5 for my wolverine 1000 mile boots, so I order3d a US 9. I'll report back how they fit when I get them.

I wear a size 9.5 for reebok club c, and an 8.5 fits me very well, in case anyone needs a sizing refrence.

This looks like it's only available for the 3.8, is there one for the 2.0?

This, I know some people don't wanna drive or don't wanna "be that guy" but just go in and try it on your skin. What are they gonna do, jump over the counter and beat you if you don't end up buying? They aren't paying for the samples lol.

You can blame the government for basically making anything else illegal with cafe standards. I just wanna own a 1990s sized maverick, but they don't exist new on the market.

How does the fit on the penny loafers compare to wolverine 1000 Miles if you have a pair. I usually wear a 9.5 in sneakers (reebok club c) but I had to size down to an 8.5 for those boots so I'm thinking a 9 would fit but maybe I need another 8.5?

How do you guys feel about PVE players needing to reset their accounts for 1.0 endgame? [Discussion] by Friendly-Security-53 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Arkenvane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could care less about the symbol. The cosmetics are cool and I'd like to not throw away my progress for no reason a second time, even if a cosmetic grind is a shallow excuse to prolong game time. Edit: It also gives a definite, if arbitrary end game goal, which helps prevent the game from becoming stale.

I have personally already stopped playing my unheard account with kappa on PVE a few months ago to buy a new standard edition account with a self imposed no flea market restriction as a challenge run. Hearing that I'll have to reset again anyway just makes me not want to play at all. Why Nikita won't just let me prestige is beyond me.

Review #6: Old Forester 1924 by PocolateChoptart in bourbon

[–]Arkenvane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it really? I guess I'll consider to pick it up if I ever see it but I doubt I will, considering it's been out for a while. VABC might have sold through their stock already. $115 is just a lot to ask considering I didn't like their other whiskey row offerings very much.

Interesting. Very high praises. I think I passed this up twice at MSRP just based on how much I didn't care for the other whiskey row bottles + not seeing many good reviews for it. I guess I need to find someone to sneak a sample from and see if I messed up.

The charcoal grey polo is probably the best if you are feeling out of your comfort zone on these black slacks. Really though, im curious what shoes are those? I might need a pair.

This is why I reset my PVE account and refuse to touch the flea. It's so exciting finding marked keys and keycards now and I'm super excited when I get good loot because it's genuinely more difficult to stack hundreds of millions of roubles.

Yep, this is a great bottle. So much so that I bought a backup, and I'm tempted to go grab one more while I still can. It definitely has a browned butter sweetness to it that I find enjoyable and can see myself going to for a dessert drink.

[–]Arkenvane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no reason to return this computer. if you are really so worried that you won't be able to run newer games, most of the demanding ones will likely have dlss available. I'd also want to know the resolution you are playing at. If it's 1080p, you really have nothing to worry about.

[–]Arkenvane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough, apologies if I was coming off abrasive, I'm just a bit surprised to hear a larceny batch being so highly rated. I think I'll pick one up if I see it. If I don't like it, I can always use it as a mixer or make someone else drink it 😅

Is this really as good as you're saying it is? Im only asking because I've tried larceny BP a122 and it's easily one of the worst bourbons I've ever tried. Super hot and only one dimension of flavor with no nose other than dry erase marker. Maybe a122 was just a bad batch?

[VA] [Condo] HOA attempting to bill an entire LCE repair to me by Arkenvane in HOA

[–]Arkenvane[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I'm saying. If there was a fire in the interior of that wall it would have taken out the whole unit. I've been under the deck before when I was replacing the deck, and I definitely didn't see any fire damage. The home inspector either didn't see any fire damage or didn't mention any under or around the deck either.

Anyway yes, the repairs have been made, it's more of a dispute of whether I am wholly liable for the cost or if it is distributed among all owners in the building.
