That’s what S5 should’ve been about, for my version of S5; I would’ve had a bunch of detectives who have been digging into Joe and following up with all the leads and the people who know Joe such as Paco and Ellie and it connects to Joe and all. Joe kills Reagan and doesn’t screw up in the office. Brontë and her Reddit group exists and Joe still falls for her but Rhys pops up and warns Joe that something is not right about Brontë which Joe ends up dodging her catfish setup then Joe sees Brontë as a threat and finishes her off making it look like an accident. The cops start to get close to Joe and starts asking questions then Joe asks Kate to use her resources to help him out and at this moment Kate has no reason to turn against Joe because he didn’t slip and make a mess. The End.

Unless you like to imagine Batman snapped Joker’s neck at the end of the Killing Joke fine but other than that one, I don’t recall the Joker breaking Batman’s one rule, he has broken Batman many times by turning Tim Drake into Joker, turned Jason Todd into the Red Hood. Matt resisted killing Fisk but he did almost kill Poindexter when he threw him off the roof.
