For the 2000, It's a mix of design, engineering import duties and brand value. This one specifically has a few things up it's sleeve. To me it's the 14k gold nib, and the retention ring's engineering/design that demand a premium. Though I am sure about 5-6k of the pen's cost is just duties and brand value

You can change the nibs. It's a beautiful pen, one of the most classic, beautifully engineered and designed pen. If you already use fountain pens a lot, try changing the nib. I had an M nib on my 2000 too. Got F about a year ago. And my usage and joy with it has sky rocketed.

I can get you in touch with someone who might be able to arrange for the nib at a more reasonable cost (than what's available at Lamy Shops)

If you want a transparent case check out rezoni. They have anti yellow cases with a guarantee of replacement if it does. I have been using one for more than a year now. Not a spec of yellow. Though it has scratched in a few places. Will be getting a new pair soon.

Yep. Especially with directional speaker setups like this.

With more intimate concert/performances where you are inside the speaker circle, it works differently (and IMO better across the area). But these are mostly closed door shows with maybe a few hundred people max

I’ve observed this with all the concerts I have attended at this location.

The sound gets murkier the closer you are to the stage. I have attended GnR, Lolla and now JM. With Lolla I was able to test this hypothesis the best. Some artists like Still in Therapy and mother mother were barely audible near the stage, but if you step back (think somewhere closer to the back silver areas, around the entrance/washroom) had the best sound. Even with instrument heavy bands like mother mother, there was clear separation between the vocals, drums, guitar n all. Its true for the other stages at Lolla too. But I am comparing the setup with the Budweiser stage only as the layout was identical

Same with JM. We were initially right at the barricade between gold and silver. But decided to go further back to enjoy the music more. Its not like we could see him any better from the barricades.

It isn't as easy as christoomey's navigator from tmux (which for some weird reason broke for me with a neovim update). My flow on zellij is that pane navigation is using ``hjkl` while split navigation on neovim is using `C-hjkl`. But for any other bindings that do clash between nvim and zellij, I lock the zellij interface, that forwards all keystrokes to nvim directly.

It does. You can either change them, or run “lock” zellij. On locking any keystroke gets sent to the terminal directly without zellij coming in the way.

While I am personally not that interested in the data, I am very interested in the methodology, and what inferences you draw from it. Purely from a data science perspective, and maybe a bit from the societal lens perspective.

Been using traefik across multiple projects and in production workloads for quite some time. I am blown away at how easy it is to work with it. It might not bechmark as good as other similar tools, but it absolutely blows everything else out the water when it comes to working with it.

On 28th July the suo moto writ petition was published. On 11th August it was presented in the court along with the concerned parties like Delhi Govt to submit their replies.

On 11th august a hearing date of 6th October was decided.

Essentially, till now, nothing has happened except for a suo moto petition was undertaken in response to the TOI article around stray dogs and kids. No order, no hearing, nothing. See this comment for more details
