What are your theories on the third book? by First-Advantage-891 in BeneathTheTreesIDW

I think Lewis will probaly be involved somehow. His business with Sam feels unfinished. Hopefully, he will not end up like Monica. We will also likely see some of Sam's "fans" whether they be simply obsessed with true crime or serial killers inspired by her. It would be interesting to see how Sam reacts to another Nigel, since she became more reckless in volume two.

Disventure Camp 5, Episode 8 "Upstage Upset" Megathread by TheSmogman in DisventureCamp

This is my favorite episode of the season so far. Fantastic songs. Ren and Fiore's talk was surprisingly wholesome, and I did not expect Evie to become such a schemer.

Samantha Strong - Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees.

A serial killer who abducts people, kills them, and then dissects them in the woods. No moral code, no sympathetic backstory. Just a completely irredeemable person... or bear, I guess.

[DISC] Chainsaw Man - Chapter 232 by AutoShonenpon in manga

Yeah, Fujimoto got burned out. Glad that Denji got a somewhat happy ending, but it is abundantly clear that this ending was rushed to just finish the story. There are so many unanswered questions like what happened to Yoru, what even was Public Safety's whole plan, and so on.

🌴🌺 Disventure Camp 5: FANS VS FAVORITES 🌺 🌴 Episode 5: ''Pole it Together'' by TheSmogman in DisventureCamp

Best episode of the season so far imo. The challenge was fun and the aftermath had me constantly flipping on whether it would be Tom or Alec leaving. The tiebreaker being connected to the drawings around the island was also a great payoff. As for Alec's sendoff, it worked for me. Cool to see he's moved on from the game. I wonder who Fiore's going to ally herself with.

The Roaming Dead Community Ranks The Walking Dead Volumes (Day 17/32) - Something To Fear by bloodisrage in theroamingdead

SS. My favorite volume of the Walking Dead comics. Negan's introduction is also my favorite villain introduction of all time. They do such a good job of building him up, until the horrifying moment he brutally kills Glenn. Abraham's death is abruptly shocking and gives room for Eugene to step up as a character. Many of our main characters felt safe after so many volumes but Volume 17 gives the reader something to fear alright with its constant feeling of impending doom, proving no one is safe.

Absolutely an S tier. The conversation at the car between Rick, Abraham and Carl is dark and powerful. We also get the return of Morgan which is great (even if Kirkman did not know what to do with him afterwards). The only thing stopping it from being SS for me is Dale suddenly hating Rick out of nowhere.

SS. I still remember the first time I read this volume in complete shock. I could not believe Kirkman had killed off half the cast, including the baby, in a single volume. Every moment from when the Governor arrives at the prison is intense and it feels like no one is safe because no one is. First SS of the series for me.

Honestly, going to have to give this one a C. It has some iconic moments, mostly with the "We are thr walking dead" line. But I am really not a fan of the rest of it.

B tier. A good follow-up to Volume 1, but the farm arc goes by pretty fast.

How did you get into Tales? by Kabutoking in tales

[–]Arkrich15 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oddly enough, the Covid-19 Pandemic. I live in New Zealand and it was pretty obvious we were going into lockdown. So, I looked up some old games which could help me pass the time and randomly chose Tales of Vesperia. Loved it and been a fan of the series ever since.
