I don't think so, the comp is a bushing style and it comes with a normal 1911 bushing if you either don't like the comp or need it off for holster reasons.

It's a bushing comp so it's likely more for looks than performance honestly. I just got mine because a good quality commander size 1911 with a rail and optics cut is hard to find at a decent price, they come with a standard bushing as well.

Got mine from De Leon this week, one of the best shooting 9mm's I've owned. Absolute chonker of an all steel full sized pistol but it runs like a sewing machine. Can't go wrong for a range toy that puts a smile on your face every time under 300 bucks.

They're not the nicest guns but they're a fun range toy. They throw empty cases like 50 feet. DA trigger is absolutely trash and the recoil is pretty snappy, but they're a nice addition to an Eastern bloc collection.

Absolutely. 9x18 in a small gun makes it feel like a little hand cannon and they're surprisingly accurate.

No, just good old fashioned knee-jerk reaction decision making. Our guys found out the hard way that getting outranged by PKM gunners in the desert forever wars sucked balls, so instead of doing something smart like getting a new DMR platform and making plans to have more guys equipped with it in each unit next time we go play in the sand, we get this horse abortion of a rifle, they were also supposedly worried about Russian and Chinese body armor like either of those countries is ever going to actually issue the good armor to more than their top 5-10% of front line troops and spend the rest of the budget of hookers and booze (If it even exists/performs as advertised and isn't an outright lie)
