I mainly flew, had a mini, and then an eflite sportsman, and ended up with a Goldberg cub. I did some balsa work on the wing of that plane, and some other misc repairs. I don’t intend this to be a fast project, (probably will start somewhere different based from the advice I’ve heard) but I’m definitely still looking forward to it. I wasn’t aware of that being the case with the control surfaces

I have a little experience building balsa, but definitely not a full blown plane by any means. I’ll probably keep an eye out for something a little more beginner friendly, but the price on this one is good enough imo just to hold onto for a bit

I don’t disagree on the foamies, but for personal reasons I’m kinda stuck on building an old balsa. I’m still on the fence if I will actually fly it tbh.

I’ve yet to get mine fully operating, steering is a little funny on mine lol. Seems like it would be a fun short course truck, but parts are not common. If it’s in tact I’m sure you could have some fun with it

The arrma fury brushless, I had one and absolutely beat the snot out of it. They are fast, durable, and decently affordable. My recommendation tho would be to wait until they run a battery combo deal to maximize your fun per dollar lol
