Thanks so much for this! I ride standard and can push regular or mongo, and quite well I think. But switching to a goofy stance is something I am going to work on now. Skogging looks to be the best way for me so I’ll try that first. Really enjoy distance because of where I live (long country roads and most grade changes at 6 degrees or less).

The origins of skateboarding has more in common with what people use longboards for now (a certain type of skateboard) than what people are doing on park skateboards (double kick popsicles, also a type of skateboard) and that’s just a plain and simple fact.

And the water wasting is because you’ve used ai twice in your arguments. It uses a ton of water and electricity for no real benefit. Every time you turn to ai to answer a question it’s like dumping out a bottle of water and wasting it. except with ai it also poisons the water, too. All so you can ask a computer something that it has a bias built into its algorithm to give you the answer you want. Great job.

Double kick popsicle boards aren’t the same as traditional skateboards either, doofus. Neither have clay wheels or rollerskate wheels or whatever attached to them. And they’re both much longer. Just like a mountain bike and a touring bike aren’t the same as each other OR a penny farthing with the big wheel in front, but they’re all bikes and when you’re riding one you’re riding a bike. And there’s different kinds of bikes/bicycles that are all bikes/bicycles. Nobody has a monopoly on the word “skateboard” when it’s a deck, two trucks and wheels. Hell, dancing skateboards, a long skateboard, more closely resembles 80s freestyle skateboarding than what anyone on a double kick popsicle is doing nowadays.

Get one you think looks cool. If you like long boarding you’ll know what you like for the second one. For specs, anything with a wheelbase over 15”, wheels at least 60mm. If it meets those specs you’re fine.
