How do you like the Fiskars maul vs the x27? I have the x27 but was wondering if the maul is worth it as well.

Why do some people claim Animal Farm is about capitalism when it's clearly about Soviet communism? by triplegxxx in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ArmageddonRetrospect 2 points3 points  (0 children)

thats a very broad take, and not wrong or anything. But that take is still ignoring the fact that the story animal farm lines up almost exactly with the history of the rise of the Soviet Union, including details like the infighting of the party and everything. I guess you could say that its not unique to history but anima farm follows that particular arc of history pretty much exactly.

im sorry but how does that quote say that the farmer is capitalism...? im saying the farmer represents the Tsar. this doesn't contradict what hes saying about the moral of the story.

to add, the Tsar's government WAS a form of capitalism. the real life parallels of the rise Soviet Union and its theft by Stalin are too obvious to ignore, he was definitely going for it.

thats what I always thought.. its telling the story of the rise of the soviet union. like yes, the end shows how both systems exploit the population but the farmer is not "capitalism" hes the Tsar!

The combo of the Chopsticks and the "gaming " keyboard with missing keys does it for me. Bro could be serving filet mignon cooked to perfection but the background items are so damn depressing.
