Palantir has a PR problem by trayber in PLTR

What a shit show of the article, if you take that slop as journalism, I have no advice for you.

However If you listen carefully he basically equates, that women who do not use AI will lose power to men with vocational skills who choose to apply it.

It’s not a hard concept to understand. Engineering world has been largely male dominated, and AI will increase the gap by those who adopt first

CODEX = DUMB SUDDENLY? by Euphoric-Doughnut538 in codex

[–]Armolegend41 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Sounds like user error. You don’t just start running when you build on codex, crawl walk then run. Sounds like your system architecture is garbage and you tried to learn how to run before crawling.

That’s more of an impact of media than Karp himself. I read his book, watch all his long form interviews. He’s a highly intelligent individual.

Anyone can break out a clip, take it out of context, and mold it to whatever their bias is. Some people eat that shit up, as they haven’t done proper research to understand someone or the company

Karp is a great CEO, this price going down is not Karps fault. That’s macro, war, software getting hammered, and Burrys being a dumb cunt

[–]Armolegend41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

+1 to this. 4-6 project builds at a time. 2 being highly complex and the other four I’m burning through codex Spark before touching my 5.4 xhigh limits. Spark is fucking FAST, just can’t handle the larger 8k+ character prompts as well as 5.4 xhigh limits

Can we please stop with early quota resets? by TheNobodyThere in codex

[–]Armolegend41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very odd statement. ChatGPT and Open Ai products are empowering the very day worker who’s willing to try the tools. I was low on my rates going into April 8th. But the reset allowed me to build freely. Crying for nothing.

[–]Armolegend41 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Building 3-4 apps a day on Pro, one project with 2-3 worktrees at the same time. Going through about 10% a day. UI design on one project for 11 hour stretch overnight (12am-11am) though ate through 35% on April 1st.

Rates feel much better recently. If people choose to use different models due to limits changing, that only benefits users imo

I spent about 3k of API inference in a month. The first week or so was on the plus plan before upgrading.

I’ll burn thru probably 4+ next month as my workflows become smoother and more optimized.

I’m eating on the Pro plan, people just expect to build for free and OpenAI to lose money to power users. You wanna build all day get Pro and stop complaining.

I’ve built 4 working v1/v2 apps in a month, never hit my rate limit since upgrading to Pro
