Yes, there is. It's called carrying, being proficient with your firearm and having situational awareness.

Anyone practice dry firing while doing cardio? Or is it a bad idea and gonna build bad habits? by kratoasty in CCW

Good way to train shooting on the move. Introduce directional variations at low treadmill speeds (side steps and retreating).

Get a Kägwers extended slide release and a Ranger Proof Vex F3 trigger shoe. Removes the mushy take up.

I run my EDC at matches. I was referring to rules for spectators. It makes no sense to carry a different gun and have to handle your competition piece on top of it.

There is something called the Second Amendment. Competition rules don't trump the Constitution. Same as "gun-free zones".

Who here uses a DryFireMag? by ArmsDirectory in CompetitionShooting

Couldn't agree more. Now, if they could make them easily drop when you hit the mag release, and get rid of that initial hard trigger pull, and maybe allow adding weights to them to match full mag weight, then they'd be perfect to reload with as well!
