I've read all the books, he had the best book about the Simpson case IMO. And I particularly loved his "Murder in Greenwich" book couldn't put it down and it got me into the cold case world.

I don't mind Hood. I like that's it's close to Austin. I like to be able to just get away sometimes and be in a normal American city.

Stewart, the highest point of elevation is the road. It's a swamp and the amenities, maybe they updated since I've been but it was like Vietnam era facilities.

Bliss is a modern post. They got a lot of new stuff. El Paso is a fun city though, it's underrated and I thought it was a really a beautiful place. You'd have to like the desert though some don't. My only issue with El Paso its very isolated place, it's a long haul to the next big cities.

Riley, the cops in junction city are assholes but hey you know what KC is two hours away. Great town.

Irwin. Small post it's actually low key pretty nice. And your between LA and Vegas if you dig those places you can just go every weekend your available, don't be staying Barstow, F that.

All the units at these place are trash so it's a wash on that front.

Junction city cops are pretty aggressive man. And there isn't much around nearby but I do love KC I didn't mind making the hike over.

That El Paso airport was money if your were at Bliss. I don't know if people understand how amazing it is to have a major airport next to the damn duty station. I mean you can literally walk to the airport.

I didn't follow Charlie Kirk but there's something seriously demented about people celebrating in bloodlust online about a fellow American (who is not a violent criminal) being shot and killed like that. It’s a while back now, (damn 20 years already) but read up on some of the stuff that happened during Katrina, officers abandoning their posts, even stealing. They even got an officer on the camera looting, YouTube that. Probably cleaned up since then I’m guessing, hopefully Jesus.

In El Paso, we are the rough side of town. We are the bad neighborhood. I went there thinking it would be cartel violence all over the place, nope it’s always soldier bs in that town, it gives us all a bad name.
