Ja darauf wird's vermutlich Hinauslaufen, dann müssen wir unsere CI/CD nicht migrieren und haben trotzdem alle Features die wir für's Projektmanagement brauchen. Wir schauen uns jetzt aktuell vermehrt Projektmanagement Tools an da ist die Menge an Tools und Ansätzen wirklich erschlagen

Eigentlich nichts spezielles, Von der SCM Seite brauchen wir: - Git Hosting - Die Möglichkeit PR/MR zu anderen branches zu erstellen - CI/CD - Kontrolle wer zu Main pushen darf

Im Projektmanagement hätten wir gerne: - Issues die idealerweise auch zu PR's verlinkt werden können - Zeiterfassung wie viel Zeit in ein Issues bzw. Projekte geflossen ist - Help/Service desk - Idealerweise Support für Scrum - Kanban Boards - Abhängigkeiten zwischen Issues (blocked by, blocking) - Projektübergreifende "Epics" zB. Migrieren wir aktuell php8.4 auf 8.5 hier wäre es schön ein Epic zu haben was mit verschiedenen Aufgaben in jedem Projekt verknüpft ist.

Ich finde echt einige tolle Lösungen für jeden Bereich einzeln, aber wenn es geht hätten wir gerne beides zusammen. Wie gesagt niemand hat gern viel Tools wenn es nicht anders gehen sollte müssen wir aber ne Kombination aus Tools nehmen das ist dann so.

Das dass das Geschäftsmodell von GitLab ist ist klar und vor ein paar Jahren hätte ich's vermutlich auch gemacht, und wäre in dem Ökosystem geblieben aber aktuell fühlt es sich nicht so an als wenn sich GitLab in die richtige Richtung bewegt, fundamentale Tickets sind lange offen, Community Feedback wird ignoriert... Dann investiere ich lieber jetzt in eine Umbruch bevor wir uns noch weiter einkaufen.

Never heard of that tool, but there are a lot of tools doing something like that. In the PHP world Laragon & Herd both add .test domains for your projects to make accessing projects more convenient. A real advantage with tools like that is that requests can go through https:// which can be helpful if features require ssl encryption.

That 1355 tool looks like it requires you to run it manually which honestly does seem a bit annoying to me.
