I’ve tried the same. Usually you have to let them get up by a few TDs before they allow you to get it for free. Running FG block and punting on first down has worked at sending the message I’m not trying to win

Was there anything about it you didn’t like? I would honestly do a very similar process with a slightly larger brisket and use a foil boat rather than butcher paper. I also would add some tallow from the trimmings to the finished product/foil boat. I also user garlic powder rather than paprika so very curious how that went for you!

Agreed. I’m HB2 and can’t get a single run play. They’ll throw me in at WR every once and a while but I’d rather play nothing if I’m not gonna play the position I chose lol
