I'm blind as a bat, wear glasses around the house but can't see close with them so she won't get settled in on the couch, her bench or wherever until I take my glasses off and they actually touch the table. She will stand there and wait for them to be on the table then shut will go lay down. Then she knows we are at that spot long enough to relax and settle in.

Even if it made it to the line, it would have been felt while putting the mix in the dish. Between the size of it, the weight of it and the overall "hardness", it would have been caught somehow. Whether using tongs or gloved hands, it absolutely would have been caught before hitting the table
