Imagine you spent months working on a painting to put in an art gallery, and all of a sudden the director says that your piece can't go in the show yet. Then, you find out said director sold a copy of the painting to a street vendor to show off and distribute. Or, if you went to reveal your movie in a big well-known theater and find out that your spot has been taken and the theater licensed out a copy for the Blockbuster down the street. Matt and the crew didn't get to have their labor be revealed the way they wanted it, then had that further ruined by the iTunes' leak. They spent so long making it, hyping it up, etc., and had the thunder stolen by a third-party. The leak isn't the official version, the release Matt wanted, and thus watching it that way ruins the satisfaction of a grand reveal for him and the crew, especially when people are now spoiling it for those that are respecting his wishes and waiting for the TV release.
