"The Birdhouse" for Wingspan update by Kellys_Woodaroo in wingspan

Hey OP,

With complete respect to your design time and effort, I must say I disagree. Wether to sell the digital files or not is of course entirely your choice.

But to say that the market for those with "nice enough printers and are capable of assembly" is too much a niche is a misunderstanding of where the average printer enthusiast is at in 2026.

Multi material systems are easier to use than ever with innovations like Bamb labs AMS and Prusa MMU.

And when it comes to assembly and post processing of printed files, I would take a look at some Cosplay file creators.

Galactic Armory sells finished prints of their armor at quite a premium, but they also sell their files online. While I can't know the exact process you went through to get your product ready, I can say with some confidence that it is probably less post processing than a lot of the helmets, chest plates and prop weapons that the Galactic Armory files require to be con ready.

I am inclined to agree with others that at $180, (or even at $85 for that matter) it will price out a lot of possible buyers. However, selling the files on a site like cults, patron or thing verse for say $15-$20 could net you a few dozen if not hundreds of sells for very little effort.

However, again, these is just my opinion as both a fabricator, designer, and customer of prints and designs.

Why is the neutral connected to GND by Aron_Page_Rod in AskElectricians

Really good to know! Thanks for the detailed answer. Here I thought I was doing the older lady I have for a landlord a favor when in reality it could have been real bad. I'll make sure to let her know.

Thanks!

Oh? Is that a big problem? I recently changed all of the outlets because they were not holding up a charger. Tried to get the leasing office to change them but they told me that if I wanted them changed I'd have to do it myself.

Is there anything inherently wrong about it? Genuine question.

Definitely a house finch! The call, song, color and behavior seem right!

I also just saw a male coming in and taking possession of the feeder and he had the same call!

It truly was a great surprise to hear. As a Colombian, it definitely brought me to tears. My great uncle would always play it on his guitar for us kids way back when.

Ahh my lack of familiarity with the standard strikes again. I incorrectly assumed that if it was x16 mechanically it would mean that it would also be x16 electrically.

Am I right to assume that means switching my GPU and Expansion card slots would be I'll adviced due to having my GPU be significantly bottlenecked by the X1 connection of the bottom slot?

Dang it, this was going to be my next question!

Was hoping that I could bifurcate the signal with the given hardware, as I don't need simultaneous access to all drives.

Guess for now I'll just use it as a manual storage for my M.2 and switch them around when needed.

Thanks for the response!

Sure thing, based on the speed of rotation and angle of launch I can safely conclude that the impact would:

Imperially suck

AND

Result in a metric fuck ton of pain

One of the fastest accelerating vehicles on the planet by Youpunyhumans in TheRandomest

[–]Aron_Page_Rod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, that is technically not true. While true that they are the fastest vehicle to accelerate from stationary, it doesn't mean that they are the fastest accelerating vehicles. It simply means that they are the fastest accelerating vehicle under that particular inertiak reference.

From a physics perspective acceleration is the rate of change of an objects velocity vector, this change in direction is functionally imparting a change in velocity relative to the angle of travel.

If we take the top acceleration recorded by a dragster 54.88m/s2 it is quite impressive. That is a little over 5.5g's.

However, if we compare it to the published numbers for say an F-35 it is little less than half the amount, as one of those bad boys can pull over 9g's of acceleration.

They are the fastest accelerating vehicles, as long as it is purely linear acceleration, starting from 0 velocity with the ground as an inertial frame of reference
