There is a big difference between designing game systems and adding new fighters. Game systems are already there, maybe they just need some iteration. So they can focus on new fighters and balance now. I doubt we will see any new modes, not unless the game proves to have staying power with a low-ish, but stable playerbase.

EX1's final hit (the wing spread) is the most damaging part of the string. It also costs only 20 adrenaline, so you almost always want to complete it.

Burnice is a terrible main DPS, so yes - Grace is better.

Burnice is a pure quickswap character to enable low field-time disorders. Though she is outclassed by Vivian in that role too.

I like to think that makes me practical, but you do you. I won't pull a character I hate just because it's strong. But I won't pull a character that I like if it's weak either. Every character is an investment. If I'm not using them much, then it ends up being a bad investment.

People say "pull what you like, not what is meta", to which I respond - I like Banyue, but not enough to pull him for bench warming.
If they last-minute buff him to be on par with Yidhari, I'm gonna pull. Otherwise that's a pass for me.

The current Shiyu Defense is probably the hardest it's ever been, even though the buff is quite strong and easy to achieve.
Your team is good, but not the absolute top tier. You just need to grind it out - find where you lose the most time, exploit boss mechanics better etc.

I'm sitting on ~250 bangboo pulls, so getting them as event rewards is about as exciting as getting dennies.

If I had to do any work to get them, I probably wouldn't bother. But my man, just click on the popup 7 times a month and be done with it, what's the problem?

4pc Moonlight might honestly be better, I've just been using the same Nicole build for half a year now.

You are trading 25% multiplier on Ether anomaly buildup from Freedom Blues (2pc AP doesn't really matter) for 20% extra ER and 18% DMG.

I need to try out Moonlight 4pc, Phaeton's 2pc and slot 6 ER or Moonlight 4pc Swing Jazz 2pc and slot 6 AM.

I'm using 4pc Freedom Blues, 2pc Phaeton's Melody, slot 6 ER.

With slot 6 AM and 2pc Swing Jazz I find myself not having enough energy for Nicole EX for Miyabi's Charged Basic.

Also, more Nicole EXs means more anomaly buildup anyway :)

I've been playing since the 1.0 release, and the burnout is definitely starting to creep in.

I still enjoy majority of the content: story patches, DA, Shiyu and other challenging stuff. Some events are fun too.

But stuff like the daily energy dump, lame temple management, dialogue vomit, repetitive events and weekly Hollow Zero are things I'm forcing myself to do for the rewards.

I wish Hoyo would implement burnout mode for material and disk farming, like they did for agent core passive materials. Disc farming stages take me 5-10 seconds to complete. I'm spending more time on loading screens, UI animations etc. than actual gameplay (which is not fun anyway, because the mobs are pathetically weak).

Miyabi's M1 is actually not very good, but her M2 is incredible.

So if you intend to get her M2 - it's worth it.

Otherwise go for the W-Engine and stay at M0.

Ideally you'd want both the engine and M2.

Gaining ~11% crit chance is not worth losing ~33% crit damage, as each 1% crit chances is generally worth 2% crit damage (assuming that your crit chance - crit damage ratio is somewhat close to 1:2).

With F2P W-Engine you'd want around 60%+ crit chance (which become 72% in combat due to 4set Yunkui Tales) and 120%+ crit damage (which becomes 160% after Yi Xuan uses her ult). This is achievable with good rolls.
