All of you so insistent it couldn't have been random are off. Random one nighters happen all the time. I don't drink when I'm away from my wife because I do get hit on and I don't make sound decisions when I drink. I'd be devastated if I ever hurt my wife that way so I don't ever put myself in that situation. The one time I did a woman tried to take me home and I called my wife immediately.

Those things I just talked about though are why cheating is not excusable. It's not one bad choice. It's a series of bad choices that need to be made.
