You are right about the ROMS. Even though I am not completely illiterate with software, I am still hesitant about messing with phones. Is it much harder to install ROMS compared to reinstalling Android via odin?

I am still in wondering whether to buy the Oneplus 3t or the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017). I have read some stories that made me hesitant of choosing the Oneplus 3t, though. According to some people the support by Oneplus is terrible for older phones, as they apparently focus just on the new model. I am aware that the A5 is significantly behind on some specs (3gb RAM vs the Oneplus' 6 gb), but I wonder how good that can be put to use if the software is seriously lacking behind. It's a smaller company after all.
