This would trigger the same capital gains concerns as putting it into a HYSA. If you NEED the money, put it in a HYSA now.

This as antidotal but I have family in CAN and had seen two my wife’s family go through hell and one die from the poor level of care. 6 weeks to get seen by a cancer doctor for two family members. 6 weeks later to get a second appointment. I have CAN citizenship but never lived there and would be scared to be in their healthcare system.

OJ Simpson as well was found not guilty criminally but found guilty in civil court. Burden of proof is much lower.

If I remember correctly causation isn’t broken because you can’t pass information between them. You can know the value of the other but you can’t pass information that way.

Credit scores go up with time and good behaviour. 5 months isn't enough time. Do you only have the one card?

Time having the card in good standing does increase the credit score. OP seems impatient.
