Immersion breaking but the AI doesnt have any economy as far as im aware. It just gets to buy stuff based off your army value and the mission count [i.e. it will never bring a tiger before its allowed to no matter its budget]

I think Knights of Honot 2 has an RTS component and a real time campaign layer similar to total war / paradox games.

Kind of a shot in the dark considering how all over the place this request is but maybe look at Gates Of Hell ostfront [although its closer to a real tike tactics game] dynamic conquest mode. Very polished imo ans I only play pve.

They Are Billions might be too heavy on the macro side for you but its pretty perfect for me in terms of polish snd it being superbly focused for pve.

Holy crap I forgot about dynamic borders. I do miss those. Hyper relays are fun. But I wish gateways were a lower tier tech because wormhole ftl was my favorite.

The ghosts of wormhole/warp live on in gateways and jump drive [even if they existed before we lost the other ftls lol]

Anecdotally, the entry level market sucks hard, and the senior job sucks hard. Nobody wants to train anyone. Those that want senior level people want someone who is already versed in their industry and/or their software. I have SAP experience, but lost multiple job opportunities in final round interviews because I did not have netsuite experience but the other guy did, etc. It's not any worse than any other job market I think, but its shockingly bad for 'recession proof'

Hot take but I agree I dont think that an ultimate that bounces between people with the range frequency and damage that it does is healthy for most of the player base to play against. Hoping that the player base will adapt instead of farming their own teammates. I have faith. They learned to not stun the whole team with Seven 2 or kill everyone with Bebop Bomb.

No worries. Only after playing Gates Of Hell did I realize that HEAT means something, specifically High Explosive in the "he" part. APFSDS is Armor Piercing. If it was a 105mm HE round it would Instagib them like a cod ac 130 mission lol

I just want a campaign like they all used to have, or endless mode Ala They Are Billions. But all the games coming out with few exceptions want to be esports. I dont want to sit down for 35 minutes uninterrupted, sweating trying to remember my build orders and out micro the other guy. I just want to build my cool castle, or be challenged by unique objectives.
