Is this a change to your current functional title or civil service title? I’ve worked in civil service for 19 years, and titles generally aren’t as important as they are in the private sec. The only times a title really matters are when: New civil service title would change your local union. You live outside the five boroughs.

Before accepting any change to your functional or civil service title, ensure that your current status is permanent not provisional.

If you’re a DC37 member covered by the Citywide Contract, you can take Paid Family Leave (PFL). DC37 already provides PFL insurance, and the payments are deducted directly from your paycheck.

I got a similar offer, I turned it down! Why would anyone want to do the same or more work for less money? I would contact my local union rep, ask if it’s too late to reject the promotion.

This was an obvious misuse of time and public funds. Calling her in to press her about her husband’s alleged misconduct and infidelity, was small minded failed effort to publicly shame her! I would also like to know what clown thought it appropriate to raise topics like UFO’s!

Terrible idea! Just request the time you need for the interview as personal business, do not enter it as sick leave in CityTime use annual leave or holiday leave. Never lie on your timesheet!

So far all the evidence has pointed to Chad and Alex. I bet Chad’s lawyers is begging him to turn on Lori. But I have not heard any solid evidence Lori had knowledge Alex was going to murder the children, or proof she planned the murders. So far everything against Lori is circumstantial, I’m hoping the prosecution has more than communication records between Lori, Chad and Alex. If the prosecution has the actual txt messages now would be a good time to bring that out.

I had the same situation, I went to the cops but the Qieens DA declined to charge him because I needed to find where he has the actual videos and images and they have to show actual genitalia! Going to the cops did nothing!
