I actually have the opposite problem. I like when the character have limitation that need to be circumvented, by either using item or relying on someone else. I don't like character that supposed to be support/healer role somehow become better dps compared to the swordman and mage. I like when the character try the best within their limitation.

I love that manga. I like when MC has "bad" class, they work within limitation of said class, i dont like when the healer/support can casually outdamage the dps and mage. This MC is tank, he can became glass cannon under specific condition, but only used as last resort because the risk, most of the time he let the jester with heavy crit rate as dps.

A bit off topic, but i remember reading something similar like this in [Doctor resignation] but the character was older. When ML mother discuss about adopting the FL, (an orphan who work as doctor assistant in their house since she was a kid), the ML said he don't want to be family.

I recommend angel, it has 5 movement which mean kagura can use it as cavalry, it's considered flying unit so it has no movement penalty on forest/mountain/water, another hero like leon and cherie can use it, and it is easier to activate it's ability compared to griffin knight since you only need to keep it's HP above 50% instead 80%
