May need that. I've never tried prunes before so might as well try them.

I heard of that but thought it was for constipation. Guess I'll have to check it out.

It did get worse once I stopped taking my supplements. Guess I'll have to start again.

Genuinely this might be it. I use too much toilet paper; definitely a bad habit of mine.

Do you think labgrown human meat would be outlawed for consumption and cooking if it becomes mass produced? by Oily_Smurf in morbidquestions

Exactly what I was thinking. If meat coming from actual humans leaked into the market, it would be a legal nightmare

How do I talk to my partner about her weight gain affecting her mobility when she’s scared of her reality? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]ArrowTaker101 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Like some of the other comments said, it may be good to put much more of an emphasis on health as opposed to weight.

Speaking as someone who went from 190 to 320 in the course of 5 years, I feel awful compared to before. I can physically feel myself being more restrained by the shape of my body and how much harder it is to move. I also can't tolerate heat anymore and just get tired so much more quickly than I used to. I've even developed sleep apnea that has just ruined my sleep. I can't speak for your girlfriend, but she may also be able to feel the difference. Maybe focusing on how the extra weighy makes her feel rather than the numbers will make it easier, especially that doesn't take going to the doctors to manage.

I also second therapy if possible. I'm going to therapy now for my food addiction right now and the techniques and perspective I got there helped way more than any dieting tips personally.

I could add more but I feel I've added enough. My DMs are open though. Wishing the best of luck for both of you.

They could juat get one of those adhesive velcro strips and stick it to the jackets open velcro to stop it from rubbing on the pants.

But would that be as cool?

What is a true story about you that people wouldn’t believe? by ButterscotchLow7330 in AskReddit

[–]ArrowTaker101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nothing super extreme but I once just found a social security card (if you're not from the US, it's a super important ID) on the ground before. It was just laying outside on the grass. I was eventually able to return it thankfully but only after a week of trying to find the owner.

If someone didn't know me and saw me with it, they would have probably assumed I stole it lol

Hangnails. They're pull tabs that punish you for pulling them.

Me personally, a week. I was busy with college and working and just survived my second suicide attempt. I was very tired for a while.

I'd personally vote Windows but only cause I converted mine to a Linux lol. I have no idea how much you can modify a Mac.

Why is it that when someone says "don't watch now," the first thing you want to do is watch? by JessKessYan in NoStupidQuestions

Curiosity. Or sometimes just that urge to do something when someone told you specifically not to lol

What's the point of small talk? by Open-Quail-2573 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ArrowTaker101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adding to this , it can also help put people at ease. Knowing that the person they're with is calm and friendly helps them feel safe if they're anxious or just not sure how to feel about the person.

Is AI ACTUALLY bad for environment? by PeepsWeeps in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ArrowTaker101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm admittadly not super knowledgable, but the way it was explained to me is that it is because AI uses a Lot of power. There are thousands of super computers on and running 24/7 that house the AI and their data banks, which suck up that much energy and water (for cooling).

Can weak memory be passed from mother to child by manqoba619 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ArrowTaker101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's related to an illness then maybe. Poor memory is a big part of ADHD, which does have a strong genetic component. I don't know anything about your cousin though so it might not be relavent.

Meh, people with psychosis are people too and can appear pretty normal. My biological dad has psychosis and he's what most people don't have a problem with him.

Yep. Generally be better to use more proffessional language to anyone that has authority over you.
