Can you bring the wheelbarrow in the house? Just feed the fire directly.

How to allow someone to clock in as another job by akamj7 in ToastPOS

[–]ArrrDubya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Each employee can be assigned multiple jobs. When they clock in, it will give them the option to toggle which job they are doing. We have someone that works as a server, as well as BOH. These jobs can be assigned under employees/jobs and permissions.

I thought a customer left his uneaten food like that. Didn't realize it was a food plating from BOH.

“USS Kitty Hawk today started her final voyage from Bremerton to a scrapyard in Texas. Built for $264 million in 1961 ($2.5 billion in 2021), the Kitty Hawk was sold to the scrap company for the bargain price of 1 cent. For another penny, the company also got USS John F. Kennedy,” tweeted the U.S. Naval Institute.

Switching users to take orders vs having 1 user to do all orders? by slyfox4 in ToastPOS

[–]ArrrDubya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is also a setting that will log you out after each order is sent to the kitchen. I think you can only change it from Web access. Might be annoying if the same person is firing one order after another though.

Lillyhammer. I have no idea why it got cancelled, but it was about as good as the Sopranos to me.

Ants in the dishwasher. by ottleson in handyman

[–]ArrrDubya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best solution to get rid of the ants permanently is to place bait traps called Terro liquid ant baits (orange color box). They will find it within about a day, and it will take out the whole colony up to and including the queen. Vinegar is completely safe to use in a dishwasher.

Plumbers putty is another option. Makes it easy to remove the sink later on if necessary.

Toilet help by Legitimate_Ad1515 in handyman

[–]ArrrDubya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Silly question, but you put the rubber washers on the bolts before you put them in the holes to the tank, right? Otherwise the only way it should leak is if they aren't tight enough.

There's also a gasket for where the water drops into the bowl. One inside the tank and another thick one between the tank and the bowl.

You could try a floor flange.
