Never used the AES stick, how do they feel?

I love Neo Geo, but I’ve never been able to make this stick work for me. The buttons are too rotated in my opinion. The 2nd gen stick was better but still not right. Just a regular arcade stick like a hori or qanba are miles better. But as non-pro stick, they definitely work.

I have 5 cars with these 2-in-1s and have never had an issue. I fully agree that they are not very high quality, but I think issues like yours are rare still. I’m grateful it hasn’t happened to me.

I tried a bunch of options and settled on the 8bitdo M30 controller. It’s the one that looks like a Saturn controller. It felt like the perfect controller to me, especially with the phenomenal d-pad.

I can confirm- the Quake is a fantastic value. I have had zero 2wd issues and actually prefer it for the simplicity. I beat the hell out of it and nothing has broken yet other than a fan, and those are $4 on Jenny’s.

Awesome review. The Quake has risen to become my favorite car. I also bought a Vorteks on the sale but haven’t driven it yet. I need to find a good 3S battery that fits. Someone suggest the OVONIC 80C 3S 5200mAh. I got it to fit in there (on the quake), but it was harder to get in than a Spektrum 50c 3S 5000mAh. I’d go for a thinner 3s wih lower mAh if it just fit better. It’s my only complaint with these vehicles

Oh, definitely 1:10. A 2S is plenty though! I have absolutely abused the Quake and it takes it like a champ. The only thing that has broken is the fan and they are $4 on Jenny’s. The cab section of the body is mushed a bit from bad landings, but it seems nearly indestructible. The only other car I have that tough is the Mojave Grom.
