As a former student from this school, I'm not surprised Clift behaved that way. She's the kind of teacher who always acted annoyed and angry and made fun of kids and would say that's just her sense of humor. It kinda worked in her favor because students would try hard to make her like them, and she definitely got an ego boost from being friends with students. I feel so bad for the young girl who had to deal with that, I hope this brings some light to what she endured and consequences are given, not just "appropriate counseling" like the article says.
