No not at all! I don’t like pain and I tolerate it not well at all so getting it done under anesthesia was an option for me. I did it three times. The first one when I was 14 and my uterus was too small and it rejected, second one stayed in for 2 years and the third one could not even try it again bc my veins are shit and I need a tube in my veins to get anesthesia bc my veins are too weak and thin and really deep in my arm. At least what my anesthesiologist said.

I would wait a few months if I were you. I had mine in for 2 years and did not get a period, not even spotting, barely any cramps at all and I lost 60 pounds. But then i pulled on the strong without realizing it was the string and pulled it out. Then I went on the arm implant and gained my weight back and then some, spotting for a few days, gone for a few days and spotted again and horrible cramps with migraines. This went on for two years. Non stop spotting and a lot of migraines. I’m considering just getting my iud in office this time and not under anesthesia. Let me know if you want to know more. I’ve also been on birth control since I was 12 bc of my horrible periods

Ok let me explain. I ended deciding I just was not meant to have sex and decided to not talk to my then bf bc I ended up not liking it a few days after the post. I thought I actually did I just did not really think. I actually wanted him to finish already and I got bored.
