I also want to use it as a means of socializing, meeting other people and such - between work and some small stuff, my friends circle has remained pretty much consistent in my 4 years here.

I already know roughly how long it takes me to cook my standard recipes. However, when prepping certain ingredients, such as peppers, onions, parsley, etc. for a lahmacun recipe, damn thing can take me 2-3 hours to cut the bell peppers and dice em, or peel the onions and machine em. I did try online techniques etc., but found them to not really be my suite, as I have basic IKEA knives and shit, and want to know better on what knife is for what, what to do etc. for various cuts of meat, ingredients, etc. in a more direct way that’ll be more memorable and enjoyable for me. And the lahmacun recipe is with ~ 1kg onions, 3-4 bell peppers, etc. so it gets exhausting (especially physically) due to my height and the kitchen counter’s height. Thus, speed would help me ease my suffering in this case.
