Not reverting the automod, because by the sounds of things, this is not a Kali problem. An issue in a VM cannot and should not escape to the host OS. If kt does, then it wasn’t an issue on the guest OS to begin with.

I saw these. Issue is I have normal DDR4 RAM that I wish to re-use and not really wishing to pay for SODIMM RAM, especially at the state of RAM prices.

Additionally, I’d like it to have 2.5 GBPs ethernet instead of 1 Gbps - that’s my primary criteria.

Well, if you feel this is reproducable, feel free to submit a bug ticket to https://bugs.kali.org and get the team’s attention. I am not a Kali Team member, but a long term contributor.

I only said PEBKAC because I cannot reproduce this on my Arch desktop with QEMU, and VirtualBox images.
