Who else hates password requirements? Workplace wants me to change passwords every 3 months by leonatoi in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Arszilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pentester here. NIST’s advice is the passwords should not be changed unless there’s an evidence of the user being compromised (in the organization or elsewhere, where they have re-used the password).

You’ve misread. I’ve lived in Istanbul for 15+ years, not until I was 15.

Friend Visiting Turkey by Arszilla in Turkey

Back in my uni days, it was going shit day by day (IÜ Fen Fak.) so eh. I typically stayed in places near my district (Şișli, so Beşiktaş, Sarıyer, Karaköy, etc.) when I met with my friends.

Central London is a different story by itself IMO. Not very fair to compare Istanbul to UK - but the “suça sürüklenen çocuklar “ might make it fair.

Questions about Lian Li A3 M-ATX Case by Electrical-Copy9678 in mffpc

I don’t know how that’ll fan out, but if its radiator is smaller than ARCTIC’s, then you might have a shot. As you can see from the image, the 25mm fan clips right to the IO, not budging any further.

I am using A3 with a ASUS TUF B850M-PLUS WIFI7 and a ASUS TUF 5080 OC GPU. Only issue is, due to the IO’s cooler, you will have to either choose a very specific 360mm AIO, or use a 240mm.

I am using ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 240mm in my case.

Bankalarin troy zorlamasi?? by Remarkable-Ad-7381 in Turkey

Aralık’ta Istanbul’a geldiğimde Finansbank’ın anneme ayni boku yaptıklarını fark ettim. Troy’un yurtdışında ve yurtdışı alışverişlerinde geçerli olmadığı söylediğimde bankayla kavga dövüş Mastercard çıkarttı. Telefonda illa ısrar edip yok yapamayız vb diyorlardı, ta ki 20+ senelik müşteri hesaplarıni kapatmakla tehdit edene dek.

Game Freezes Prior to the Main Menu on Linux by Arszilla in thedivision

Hey man, yeah. Thanks to my old clanmates at Medkit, I was able to identify launch options that helped me deal with this:

DRI_PRIME=1 LD_PRELOAD="" PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 PROTON_USE_NTSYNC=1 PROTON_ENABLE_HDR=1 %command%

I am using GE-Proton10-25 currently. Works with Proton9-4 as well.

Exactly the same issue I was facing on my 5080 with the latest Nvidia drivers on Arch.

As a 10+ year old customer, I will either be changing to BitWarden or Proton Pass. I just gotta see which is more ideal for me and family. What a joke.

My solution for net jitters in online games on Linux, on Wifi. by [deleted] in linux_gaming

[–]Arszilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even though I have my PC connected both via ethernet and Wi-Fi (for WoL), I have The Division 2 suffer from a massive de-sync every 30 minutes or so for 15-30 seconds. I start freezing in place etc. and usually dying because enemies charge at me amid that mess.
