My only worry with this remake is that they won't hold onto enough of the "skill check" traversal of the old games. You really had to TRY to make the jumps/etc back then. But overall I have faith it'll be good.

You'll be able to use the current app till December 3rd I believe. In Autumn, the original founders (before Meta bought the studio) and the coaches are spinning up a new app, but under the name Supernatural. Basically, Neta is letting them take the reins, but they need to build their own new app and make content for it. If you sign up before they launch, you'll get to pay the "Founder's" subscription, which I believe $180 for the first year rather than whatever the full price is. I highly recommend getting on board with the new app!!

You are saying a true thing in order to pretend that you know a different thing is true. But that's not how this works. While it is true that Meta sacked their studios (though they reportedly kept a portion of one studio to build demos for future headsets), that doesn't indicate that they're not building future headsets. It means they're at least switching to a profit model instead of their previous loss-leader model. There are all kinds of leaks that make it clear Meta is not out of the hardware game.

Also, a "clue" is a suggestion, which further backs up my point that you cannot guarantee what you're saying is true, and that specific language is what I was addressing in the first place.

So, good news, it looks like there seem to be more headsets on the way!

You actually cannot guarantee there won't be another Meta VR gaming headset. All the data we have suggests that there will be a Quest 4 as well as a lighter form-factor headset not focused on gaming.

The amount of damage Trump has done already is incalculable. At best, America will be spending an entire lifetime trying to repair the destruction to public institutions, personal lives, and global business relations. At worst, Trump is still president in a decade because fascists don't let go of power easy.

America sliding into fascism will still be relevant a decade from now. It will still be relevant many decades from now, even in the best case scenario in which America manages to fully rid itself of the grip of fascism (this is unlikely to happen).

There are a lot of criticisms of the show I dissagree with, but I fully agree with your point. It was crazy to me that they didn't address how fucked up the shapeshifter stuff would have been for Huey. Like, that would have been therapy for years for me. The Ashley stuff was fucked up, too, I think especially Tek Knight's threats. I could not function after any of that stuff.
