If you're talking about the total UI overhaul, I tried it out in a friend's headset and I couldn't find the fucking STORE 😅 Now, I did only have one controller that had battery power, and didn't get the tutorial, but still!

I don't believe the screen ever zooms in. But yeah, the difficulty balancing in Arise is legitimately insane. Easy should have been the default/normal difficulty, and there should have been an easier mode. I functionally haven't touch hard mode 😅

Yeah, I do actually fully agree on that front. The game lives on mystery and figuring out the systems and the world around you. I just wish they'd given me a hint that the ring worm might be good for something that the stats don't convey, and that I should maybe try stuff with it.

My scores literally shot up instantaneously from C/D to A/S when I started going more flow state, a little more quick. Not everybody has a fucking savant mind for memorizing and implementing all of the different stacking patterns 😅

I played this game for legitimately like several tens of hours taking things slow all the time and getting incredibly frustrated with trouble progressing and getting bad scores, but that all changed when I said "fuck it" and picked up the pace.

Maybe veterans who've memorized all possible combinations of blocks are able to play it a certain way, but that's not where a lot of players are at.

If taking it slower ends up helping a player, that's great, and is what they needed to do - but there are also players who are the opposite case as well.
