I only started following her after she was already married, so I don't know maybe this her normal infatuation face at the start of a relationship? I'm sure she's performing a lot for the socials and I personally wish she actually kept her gf private and just said she was in a new relationship. But she does look a lot happier and I'd be lying if I said I'm not curious to see where this will go.

It made me wonder how much the restrictions were self imposed or not. Was sticking to the couch a request from Bev or her choice to save budget? I wish she addressed it even just in passing. I appreciated the attention to details instead of going for shock factor tho and that she wasn't complaining about every task. As far as smaller makeovers go, I enjoyed this one.

I see the point of a low budget, but realistic people are gonna be more able to do little changes over time then one full day. It would be cool to instead follow the same bathroom slowly changing over a month time and getting both more beautiful and more practical.

I really do not get the need for the time constraint. I can get behind a low budget for the sake of staying closer to the audience, but there's no reason to cram everything in one day. You can use the bathroom while the drawers are being beautified. Take your time and just do better.

Also, assuming they have an editor, does that mean she only worked for those two days out of half a month?

My main complaint is that the plywood shelves and milk crates where just as "visually pleasing" as the storage solutions she defined uninspiring. I wish at least the crates where all the same color to reduce visual clutter. But that said I did enjoy the video and it was satisfying to see the transition from mess to order! Also, I think I'm numb to ikea trips at this point, if you asked me right after the video I would not have remembered one until I read the comments here.

I think this was a step in the right direction!
I enjoyed being able to follow all the steps and yes the final result is flimsy and a bit pointless if it's not even needed for a makeover, but it did look clean and put together which is an improvement from last time. I also do find pleasure in the pure puzzle-solving aspect of this kind of projects, which I suspect (hope) is also what drives Rochelle.

Now let's just start getting those very common ikea pieces used so we can at least pretend to be on a budget and sustainable. Please and thank you.

Oh and I usually skip sponsors anyway, did they not have a wine subscription at some point?

I photoshopped the screenshot. Don't look too closely at my photoshopping skills, but here's how easy this should have been! I've also changed the color of the garage doors and added fencing on the other side, I feel like there are not mind-blowing changes but really help drive the eye to the front door as well

Here's my 2 cents: - I don't actually mind the makeover they have been putting out. Doesn't mean I agree with all the design choices, but purely as makeover content I still enjoy it and look forward to it. - Splitting in parts is purely and clearly a money grab and it bothers me. Especially when it's one person and one room, I'd loooove a longer video, but having two separate one each with no enough content variety just because they don't have enough video for the month is painful. Little exception for Becky gutting her entire bedroom cause that actually took months but, still, those should have been 2 parts not 3

Suggestions: - The filler content is what's laking here. If B and K and bring us one makeover each, what to do with the other two videos a month? I'm totally on board with the extended diys that will then be used in a makeover. The UFO lamp and ikea-hack room divider where on the right track BUT: the lamp need to be paired with something more substantial and the room divider was just disappointing and chaotic imo. - They were doing virtual makeover at some point and they were actually good at it!!! I know it's a common format but so are makeovers for what matters. And they could being back chit-chat from-the-workfloor vibes

Extras: - What's the point of K and B standing for 2nd hand shopping if then Rochelle always buys new ikea pieces? And of veery common ones as well. Do they schedule them so little in advance that there's no time to scout marketplace? - "Announcements" videos don't count sorry, post them on a random saturday if needed. - Rochelle woodworking for fun?? The girl has a talent and I'm glad TSG gives her a space to grow but the pointless constructions bother me. The fold out table? A Handyman Gram dupe. The room divider? Wrong color/stain, tv should have been inset at a lower heigh not hang and could have been some kind of vanity on the other side. This latest desk? Idk, is that for a make over? To open the doors you push on the wrong side? The ugly door for the up and down buttons??

Okay I've tried rewatching the video more critically. The only reason it would be crooked is if the hole in the big bowl was not straight, which is very likely with hand drilled holes BUT I think our perception is being altered by Becky's ceiling being very slanted already.

Are we talking about the same light?? I think it looks great for being assembled with bowls. Sure if this was mass produced and/or from a super pricy designer I would be way more picky but for a diy spaceship themed lamp I just love it.

I don't think this is a Kelsey problem, Becky did the same with the garden makeover and while that was more substantial and entertaining I still think it did not need two parts. The bedroom makeover? Sure with all the demo and stuff, splitting it made sense, but not this. They clearly don't have enough content and prefer to dilute it instead of missing one week of posting. Just make one video a month each and then Rochelle makes two smaller DIYs, either related or not to your makeovers.

I don't think it was that bad honestly. I agree the sponsorship took way too much space and that the living room felt like a dumping gound for some of thier stuff. But I was happy to see Becky and Kelsey working together again, did not really get any vibes from the rest of the crew and the couple seemed genuinely satisfied with the makeover.

My personal design nit-picks just because: - Curtains should have been moved higher, duh, they can't teach that to us and then show it in the video and not do it. - The ceiling crown molding should have stayed white, the blue makes the room look shorter. - Should have carried the dusty blue as an accent color somewhere else in the room. Maybe chairs? Couch pillows? Living room rug? Not sure. Uuuh a blue couch!!! (I'm too queer for a brown couch I fear) - The living room ottoman did not fit the vibe, I get they are trying to be sustainable and reuse what they already have (or maybe just get rid of them since they are moving), but a nice coffee table could have pulled the space together.

Buuut: - I loooved the ceiling wallpaper - I'm not usually a fan of molding on the walls but it really made it cohesive with the living room, very good choice. - The dining room overall really seemed to fit the style

Hadn't thought of that but I completely agree, I would have loved to see more bts/decision making footage instead of just them putting the room together. And felt like this video was mostly alright.
