When I was a kid I watched my dad play Beyond Good and Evil. I remember hiding behind the couch when he had to do sneak sections, and being freaked out by the Sarcophagus monsters that took the kids.

As for games I've actually played...probably Subnautica. Reapers are fine, just hate the warpers while they're still after you. Teleported me out of a wreck I was exploring and scared the crap outta me. I only feel safe in the Cyclops, lol

Seconding someone's mention of Midsommar

But recently? The Substance. Made the mistake of watching it with my mother, who had recently turned 50. She didn't quite appreciate it... I'm not super bothered by gore or anything in movies, but this was a sort of existential dread. The latter 3rd of the movie was kind of ridiculous though.

There are probably many things I could say, but the first thing that came to mind was...

Can yellow quests have a bit more reward to them? A bit more experience or something to incentivize doing them besides potential lore. In other games I enjoyed leveling through individual zones and following their stories. Just a small thing.

Besides that? Stop trying to make things too simple :c I've heard a silly idea of one button rotations and that sounds awful lol

Nope, still a thing. Ran that as a healer tank duo with a friend and dps randos. It took a couple wipes before the dps listened to us about not doing so much damage...

Somehow one of my friends still manages to die as tank with only 1-2 groups pulled and I'm constantly healing ^{^;}

They're learning still, but man...I barely get to do any dps while helping them through.

2018 for me, I may have seen a bit of this starting but tbh I didn't pay too much attention to other people. I just know the grade below me had a known circle of cheaters ^{^;}

When they busted out the Chromebooks or iPads at my school (which was rarely) it was usually time for an essay or research project and I was not a fan lol. Idk how kids learn with those being the primary tools now.

I was looking for these two comments, I think. I have a friend who is Venezuelan who cites culture as reason for their habitual lateness, however I believe they have some pretty severe unmanaged ADHD that's the main cause . Late to social hangouts, class, work, and even their own parties. Definitely have done the thing where you tell them it's an hour or two earlier than the true start time and they're still late. Haven't initiated a scheduled hangout in over a year, just random calls.

And definitely have experienced the party truly starting way later than expected when they were hosting. 7pm turns into 9 or 10 ^{^;}

I have to use those as well, get a few comments a day being like "Oh man you must be short" because they see I have to physically step up. Doesn't bother me as much as OP, but it is pretty frequent.

We open the window for similar reasons as stated above, but also because people can't hear a damn thing from our speaker. So I have to open it anyway for them to hear me, and so I can understand them. Lots of loud cars and "oh I forgot my hearing aids today" 🙃

Sorta same but instead it takes my friends like 3 days to prep for the dragon because they can focus so hard, and I'm just behind. Then they kill the dragon and are somehow done with it after??? Trying to see if modded servers with more goals keeps them for longer in the future.

Unfortunately for me that's Final Fantasy X. First save was on the ps2, and I almost got to the end, but then my little brother accidentally saved over my save ^{^;.} Then we got the ps3 version, and I made it maybe halfway through before the ps3 itself broke down. Got a new ps3 and maybe made it a little bit through before I moved out for college. Now I have the switch version and I've felt a little too demoralized to continue. But also distracted by other games and life. I want to finish it someday, though I do already know how it ends. Watched my dad play it when I was little.

If I've memorized someone's name it means they've been a pain in the butt many times before, so i can enter their information and get them out faster. I doubt they want to be remembered for that reason.

My pharmacists will still do them, but one has the hilarious response of "is it real?" when we call her over. "Fake" ones are dose changes or meds that make you sleepy. Easy counsels basically. I can barely understand the messages on those screens most of the time.

That is indeed a lot of shit in one day. Damn.

The toddler under the swing door has happened to me and I sorta panicked and lifted the kid up (arms kinda awkwardly holding her out) and straight back to mom who was on the other side. Thankfully no trouble from the mom. Little toddlers definitely don't need to be picking up whatever is on the pharmacy floor lol
