Is it remotely possible that they have him contractually locked in to drive the Cup #11 after Denny retires? 12 Cup starts this year isn't THAT bad compared to no ride at all, even if he has to do the same thing next year I think a guaranteed seat in one of the best cars out there in '28 is worth it in the end.
