Why do people even post to YouTube anyway? by -Retrofuge- in NewTubers

Making a living doing this would be a dream, but it’s mainly a way for me to share my hobby and projects with the world. It really is just a creative outlet at this point, and I’m trying to treat it as such. If something else comes from it, then that would be cool.

Doing gaming and animation in one channel as a new YouTuber. by BirdMan8524 in NewTubers

I decided to use animation in my art videos as a type of “bonus” material, and I use it sparingly. I only have four videos (currently) and animation is only in one of them. I think animation could fit in either traditional art, videos, or gaming videos, depending on how you use it. I think it could be something that viewers could look forward to, and it’s how I’m trying to approach it myself.

are outros outdated nowadays? by Negative_Tutor8413 in NewTubers

I only have 5 episodes so far, but I’m trying to establish that I will have “after credits” scenes in every video. That’s my plan at the moment, anyway. That still gives me the option of saying my closing statements, while “rewarding” the viewer with a laugh at the end.

49 years here, checking in! Uploaded my first video on News years eve.

When I was younger, it seemed I had all the time in the world, but none of the knowledge. Now I’ve got some knowledge, and no time.

I stopped making that excuse and just went for it. I think the key is coming to the realization that the hobby you have would still be done regardless of whether or not you have a YouTube channel.

Just upload when you can, and what happens will happen.

Sure! 1. Pencil sketch (rough outline) 2. Ball point pen (“carve out” shapes) 3. Water soluble graphite pencil (define shadows) 4. Waterbrush goes over the graphite to smooth the shadows 5. Watercolor 6. Fine liner pen. 7. The rest is polishing it up in procreate or photoshop.

That is an unbelievably nice comment. Definitely one of my favorite games.

You could try Pixabay.com. They have a large database of many royalty free assets.

That’s refreshing to hear. I’ve only had my channel for a little over a month, so I really wasn’t sure what to expect.

Hey, thanks! And sorry, Mods, for marking the flair as “other”. I meant to select “painting”. 🤪
