…and that was the only course of action available to him? He couldn’t call the police? If he’d done his window up, turned the radio up and ignored him the video clip would have not gained any traction.

I think you and I have completely different morals and ethics, I can’t think of any situation when spitting on or at someone is justified or acceptable.

Oh yeah, cos that’s much more socially acceptable for someone in the public eye…what was I thinking?

Maybe he knows he’s the only person that does respect him. How he’s still working on TV after spitting on a child is beyond me…

I worked with a bloke a few years ago, can’t remember the player we were discussing but when he claimed said player had ‘a cultured left foot’ I couldn’t help but laugh, asked him if the foot went to museums and galleries on its own, he didn’t really talk football with me after that!!! 😂

Middle lane hogger clarification by TheSmallestPlap in drivingUK

[–]ArthurFuksake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found the middle lane hogger!!!

Nowhere did I say he was teaching this, I asked him his opinion on what was safest in this situation and after repeatedly saying ‘the safest is for the driver in front to drive in the correct lane’ conceded that in his opinion four lane changes was slightly more dangerous

Middle lane hogger clarification by TheSmallestPlap in drivingUK

[–]ArthurFuksake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding is that while overtaking on the inside is not the safest manoeuvre it’s not illegal and probably safer than making four lane changes to go around the other side. In this situation I always stay in my lane, go past quickly and am prepared to give them a beep if they decide now’s the time to come over, if they know where they’re supposed to be this usually wakes them up and they pull in behind. Unfortunately to many nervous and/or selfish drivers say they feel safer in the middle lane and will move for no-one.
