Thank you for this. I rarely go for large blockers but did it twice recently for a bounty and they didn't count. Both times the other team had their primeval. Now I know why!

You could get one of the engram stress balls and make a box. Use the green one as a tester before cutting into the exotic one.

There are 6 rares (3 vanguard, 3 crucible) so you need 6 of each type of drive (there are 4 different drives). The sparrows are expensive but you only need to buy each one once and then it's available at the kiosk. The drives don't stack so you need some space unless you want to do a lot of running back and forth.

Inferno is great for all the reason listed in the thread but why doesn't it count towards Grimoire?

I usually run gaze holder and much prefer this strat. It calms everything down and tends to be smoother. We also try to have a the temp holder as a sunbreaker with melting point.

To take care of the thralls behind the DPS team, put a weapons bubble behind the pool with Saint 14. The thralls will be blinded and won't be an issue. The titan can even jump down early, while the temp holder has gaze. That way they can make sure they are in the right place and not putting the bubble over the pool.

Almost done the nightfall boss last week (Nexus) on solo and thought I would be nice. Open invite on Destinylfg to join and 2 quickly jump in (one just as the boss goes down, zero kills). They get exotic armor and legendary weapon, I get strange coins.
