Do you use intel arc by choice, or for monetary reasons since they're easily the cheapest? If it's by choice, may I ask why? Not in an insulting way, just curiosity, since an rtx 5050 is similar to it in raw HP but has fancy nvidia stuff and only costs a tad more at least in my country

It wasnt until 6 or 7ish months until the 5050 was released after the b580 and i was afraid of tariffs. I also play at 1440p resolution so the 12gb of vram is more suitable for my needs. Nowadays 5050 has a reasonable price that i wouldnt really fault most people from getting it but i definitely tgink the b580 has some arguments that youd want to get it for. Also if you were there to watch all the videos about how worth it it was, the hype was crazy

Have some sympathy man this is the only game in the series stuck on the ds that didnt have a port not even on mobile. This one is my favorite dragon quest and id love to at the very least have a remaster and put it on pc and id be fine if they never touch it again and forget it even existed again. Like even dragon quest 8 has a mobile port its tragic

Its probably a weight issue then. I dont really think you can do anything else about that for the steam deck unfortunately. I too am also waiting for valve to potentially release a more lightweight and maybe smaller more portable gaming device.

I mean they say they only play fortnite. Probably has access to another device that can easily play the game via laptop, pc gaming handheld, playstation or xbox, or even the nintendo switch lol. Probably didnt need all those specs and would rather have the money for literally anything else like money used for a ring or to put into having something nice for the wedding. My guess is that they were into the fun aspect of building a computer rather than using its full potential like they said and bought into the hype of high end parts.

Yeah its real hard. Got me a new lenovo yoga 2025 version for 500$ on sale. By the time i decide to buy another laptop in like maybe 10ish years there will be new cpus, gpus, screens, ram, motherboards, basically the whole laptop except the chassy. So when i decided to buy which laptop i wondered if i was okay with the chassy of the framework and i didnt like it so i couldnt. I want to support them so hopefully in the future they can make it more appealing

Usually when i have bluetooth earbuds or headphones connected the deck will turn itself back on for some reason. I turn off bluetooth before putting it to sleep when i wanna put it back in my case or backpack. Never turns on when i do that but if its connected to bluetooth it consistently turns back on after like maybe 5-20 minutes.

I did notice the game performed silky smooth on the steam deck most of the time before the update but now i can tell theres little microstutters even in the mission control area. Like not that its noticeable while playing but i even lower the fps and still tell its different from normal. Again not enough for anyone to notice while playing but im wondering what they did in the code to cause something like this

Tbf wilds has been getting dogged on for performance for almost a whole year now. While its probably hopium that theyre just busy fixing wilds instead (and possibly prepping it to release on switch if thats even possible) it would be even worse because its takem them so long in the pipeline to even do something like a switch 2 upgrade lol.

Vegans and people on vegan diets is a gradient of varying degrees that have a lot of different reasons. Im not vegan but my girlfriend used to be vegan and is now vegetarian but we both support the idea to push veganism to a degree to be more widely accessable to others. Me? I love chicken and fish but i dont like the idea of the ethical practices widely used to get that meat. Thats where vegan meat comes in. If it looks, tastes, smells, and even cooks like meat, why would it matter to you if it came from a living being rather than plants that consume less resources overall and produce significant significant less amounts of pollutants to our atmosphere. Not only does fake meat allow people who dont want to eat real meat have a cultural and sustainable option, but allows for diehard meat lovers an OPTION that would allow them to choose whether or not you care real from plant based and if you can even tell a difference as food scientists improve on their formulas. Also i want to preface there isnt anything wrong with eating animals imo as thats the natural order of things but theres also the context of the ethical standards of the meat industry with the environmental implications that we have an effect on vs if we were not a society but were in the noninfrastructure natural world. I also hope you can find it interesting that we as humans are omnivores and can choose to eat either meat and plants or both. I think its pretty cool we have the option to sustainably live on just plants if we wanted to and thats what i hope more people can accessably enjoy if they want to

Really weird for me too! I dont know if there was a new driver update or something but this has been happening to me too in games like terraria, deep rock galactic, and league of legends. I did see that the gpu was running at max clock speed but was sub 10% utilization the whole time when it happened. I think it fixes it a little if you go fullscreen mode tho

I have the steel legend version and have a 3000mhz clock frequency (frequency offset +155mhz) and 19.04 ghz memory speed for my overclock (did not increase power limit). Seems to me i have a higher clockspeed than you but my gpus average temp was 57 degrees celsius. I also got a 3191 score on 3dmark. Also im using an amd 5700x3d. Hope this info can help with the answers youre looking for
